On Tuesday 7th May, I took part in a photo shoot at Nottingham Castle to publicise that the Nottingham post code has the most lottery winners in the East Midlands. Camelot produced a National Lottery flag which was hoisted up the Castle flag pole, and flew there for the day.
The Nottingham Evening Post photographer was there to record the occasion and I was photographed with Maid Marian, Site Services Co-Ordinator Katie Inglis. We were photographed around the flag pole, in front of the Castle, and on the roof, but as always, only one shot made the paper.
I tried to buy the shots from the shoot, like I have always done before, but I was told that they didn’t sell photo collections any more. The only photos I have were taken by Julian Fisher, who organised the day.
The best part of the day was when we were taken up to the Castle roof and I was able to see the view from the staging around the radio mast. I took a panoramic shot of Nottingham, which I have uploaded to my Flickr account.
